Why eSimphony for USA

Coverage on T-Mobile and AT&T's national networks. Your eSIM picks the strongest local signal — 5G in every major city, 4G LTE essentially everywhere else.

No US carrier contract, no SSN required. You'd be amazed how many "prepaid US SIM" workflows still want a Social Security Number. eSimphony doesn't.

Lifetime eSIM, used last trip and this one. Coming back next year? Don't reinstall — just buy a new plan in the app. The eSIM stays on your phone.

Moza picks the plan. Tell her "two weeks, NYC + Boston + DC" and she'll suggest a 10 GB / 30-day plan. Tell her "road trip Vegas to Yellowstone" and she'll factor in the patchy rural sections of Nevada and Montana.

Coverage and networks

Networks: T-Mobile, AT&T

The US has excellent urban and suburban coverage on every major carrier. eSimphony plans run primarily on T-Mobile and AT&T — both rank highly for travelers because of strong 5G rollouts and good roaming partnerships. 5G is live across all major metros and most mid-sized cities. 4G LTE blankets populated areas, including the interstate corridors and most national parks' visitor centers. Rural coverage is the US's weak spot for any carrier. Long stretches of Nevada (US-50), Wyoming, Montana interior, the Dakotas, and parts of Alaska have limited or no signal.

How to install your eSIM for USA

  1. 1. Download the eSimphony app for iPhone or Android.
  2. 2. Open the app and create your account.
  3. 3. Tap USA (or ask Moza for a recommendation).
  4. 4. Pick a plan and pay.
  5. 5. Done. Your phone is on a local network in seconds.

If you’ve used eSimphony before, skip the install — your lifetime eSIM is already on your phone.

USA travel data tips

  • Hotel Wi-Fi has gotten worse. Many US chain hotels charge for "premium" Wi-Fi or throttle the free tier. eSimphony hotspot from your phone is often faster.
  • Rideshare, payments, and parking are app-only. Uber, Lyft, ParkMobile, the Brooklyn Bridge tolls — there's no cash fallback in many places.
  • National Parks and rural drives need offline maps. Download Google Maps regions ahead of time. Cell coverage drops in canyon stretches and most park interiors.
  • Most US metros have 5G in subways now. NYC, DC, Chicago, Boston, LA Metro all have signal in most stations. Boston deep-tunnel sections still drop briefly.
  • Plug type A/B, 120 V. Most modern devices accept 100–240 V; check your charger.
  • Visiting Canada or Mexico on the same trip? Buy an Americas Regional plan instead of country-by-country.

Frequently asked questions

Does my eSimphony USA plan work coast to coast?+

Yes. Plans run on T-Mobile / AT&T national networks — coverage in all 50 states. Rural West and parts of Alaska have spotty signal on any carrier; that's geography, not the eSIM.

Can I use my eSimphony plan in Hawaii or Alaska?+

Yes — Hawaii (every island) and Alaska (Anchorage, Fairbanks, major routes) are covered. Bush Alaska — outside the road system — has very limited service on every carrier.

Will my plan work in National Parks?+

Visitor centers, lodges, and main roads usually have signal. Backcountry, deep canyons, and dense forest routinely drop. Download offline maps and trail guides before you head out.

How much data for a 10-day US trip?+

Maps, payments, social, photo backups, the occasional Spotify drive — 5–7 GB is typical. Hotspotting a laptop or streaming a lot — go for 10 GB or unlimited.

Can I tether or hotspot from my eSimphony USA plan?+

Yes. Hotspot/tethering is supported by default on most plans.

Does my eSimphony plan let me make US calls?+

Plans are data-only. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime, iMessage, Google Voice, or any OTT app for calls. Your primary phone number stays active on your main SIM.

Does my eSimphony eSIM expire?+

No. The eSIM profile itself is for life — it stays installed on your phone. Individual data plans (a 7-day plan, for example) have their own validity, but the underlying eSIM doesn't expire. When your next trip comes, just buy a new plan in the app.

Will an eSIM work on my phone?+

Most iPhones from XS onward, most Pixels from 3 onward, and most flagship Samsung Galaxy phones from the S20 onward support eSIM. You also need an unlocked phone. Open the eSimphony app — it detects your device automatically.

Can I keep my regular phone number while using eSimphony?+

Yes. eSimphony runs on a separate eSIM profile, so your primary number stays active on your main SIM. Calls and texts continue as normal, with eSimphony data running alongside.
