Europe eSIM —
one plan, many countries.
Crossing borders in Europe is the easy part. So is your data, with eSimphony. One activation, one eSIM, and your phone keeps working from Lisbon to Helsinki, Paris to Athens, Barcelona to Berlin — without you doing a thing at the border.
What's covered
eSimphony's Europe Regional plans cover the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and most of the Balkans — 35+ countries on local carriers. The plan auto-roams to the local strongest carrier as you cross every border.
Why a Europe regional plan
One activation for the whole trip. Going Paris → Barcelona → Rome → Athens? Buy one Europe Regional plan instead of four single-country plans. You save money, save plan-management hassle, and never have to think about it after activation.
Auto-handoff at the border. The eSIM detects the new country's networks and connects automatically. No "Welcome to France!" SMS, no scrambling for an app. You're already online.
Same data pool everywhere. A 10 GB Europe Regional plan is 10 GB across all 35+ countries — not 10 GB per country. Useful when your itinerary is heavier in some destinations than others.
Built for European travel patterns. Train through five countries on a Eurail itinerary. Drive through three for a Greek-island roadtrip. Hop from Iceland to Helsinki to Berlin on a city-break tour. Plans match the way Europe actually travels.
Europe travel data tips
- Eurostar, ICE, TGV, AVE, Frecciarossa, ÖBB all have onboard Wi-Fi but it's variable. eSimphony is the more reliable connection.
- Roaming charges are gone for EU residents between EU countries on a local SIM, but as a non-EU traveler you usually pay roaming on your home plan. eSimphony skips that entirely.
- Schengen border crossings are paperwork-free — and so is your data on a Europe Regional plan. The eSIM doesn't care about the EU/Schengen distinction; it cares about the carrier list.
- City passes (Paris Pass, Roma Pass, etc.) include public transit — most transit apps still need data for live updates.
- Plug types vary across Europe. UK is Type G, most of mainland is C/E/F, Switzerland is J, Italy adds Type L. Pack a multi-region adapter.
Frequently asked questions
Which countries are included in a Europe Regional plan?+
EU members, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and most of the Balkans (including Turkey, Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro). Check the in-app country list for the current full set.
Does the plan work in non-Schengen Europe (UK, Norway)?+
Yes. The Europe Regional plan ignores Schengen status. UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and the rest of non-Schengen Europe are covered alongside the EU.
How much data do I need for a multi-country Europe trip?+
A typical 10–14 day, 3–5 country Europe trip uses 5–10 GB. Heavy hotspot users or remote workers should go to 20 GB or unlimited.
Does the eSIM hand off between carriers automatically?+
Yes. Cross from France into Spain on the AVE high-speed train and the eSIM connects to a Spanish carrier within seconds — no setting changes, no menus.
Will my plan work on Eurostar?+
Yes — except inside the Channel Tunnel itself, where every operator drops signal. You'll have UK signal until Folkestone, then French signal as soon as you exit at Coquelles.
Can I make calls or send SMS?+
eSimphony plans are data-only. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime, iMessage, or any OTT app for calls and texts. Your primary number stays active on your main SIM.
