Asia eSIM —
one plan, many countries.

Five-country SE Asia loops. Tokyo to Seoul to Taipei. Hong Kong to Singapore via KL. eSimphony's Asia Regional plan covers the route — one activation, every border, no SIM-swap rituals.

What’s covered

East Asia (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia), Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos), and South Asia (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives) — 25+ countries on local carriers, with the plan auto-roaming at every border.

Why a Asia regional plan

One eSIM for the loop. Bangkok → Siem Reap → Hanoi → Hong Kong → Tokyo. One purchase, no kiosks, no swaps.

Auto-handoff at every border. The eSIM detects the new country's networks and connects automatically.

Crucially: usually works without a VPN in mainland China (verify in the app — travel eSIMs typically route via international gateways, which means Google, WhatsApp, Instagram all work without separate VPN setup).

Built for SE Asia and East Asia patterns. Backpacking circuits, business trips that hit three cities in three countries, multi-week regional tours.

Asia travel data tips

  • East Asia high-speed rail (Japan Shinkansen, Korea KTX, China CR/CRH) all have continuous mobile coverage at speed.
  • Messaging app preferences vary by country. LINE in Japan, KakaoTalk in Korea, WhatsApp + Zalo in Vietnam, WhatsApp + WeChat in China, LINE + WhatsApp in Thailand. Have the right one for your destination.
  • Payment apps vary too. Alipay/WeChat Pay in China, PayPay/LINE Pay in Japan, KakaoPay in Korea, GrabPay/PayMaya across SE Asia, GCash in Philippines.
  • Plug types vary. Japan Type A (100 V), Korea Type C/F (220 V), Thailand A/B/C (220 V), Singapore Type G (230 V). Multi-region adapter is essential.
  • Heavy navigation in unfamiliar cities eats data fast. Plan 5–7 GB for a 10-day multi-country Asia trip; up to 15+ GB if hotspotting or working remotely.
