🌎Americas
Americas eSIM —
one plan, many countries.
USA → Canada road trips. USA → Mexico → Belize circuits. Buenos Aires → Iguaçu → Rio. The Americas Regional plan covers North, Central, and South America in one activation, on local carriers in each country.
What’s covered
North America (USA, Canada, Mexico), Central America (Guatemala through Panama), the Caribbean (varies by tier), and South America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Bolivia, Paraguay) — 25+ countries.
Why a Americas regional plan
One eSIM for cross-border travel. USA + Mexico for a beach week. USA + Canada for a road trip. Brazil + Argentina + Uruguay for a South American loop. Skip the country-by-country plan management.
Coverage on the right networks in each country. T-Mobile/AT&T in the USA, Telcel in Mexico, Bell/Rogers in Canada, Vivo/Claro in Brazil, Personal in Argentina. The eSIM auto-selects the strongest local network at any moment.
Same data pool across the trip. A 10 GB Americas Regional plan is 10 GB across all destinations, not per-country.
Americas travel data tips
- Uber dominates North America; Uber + DiDi/99 in Mexico and Brazil; Cabify, Beat, DiDi across South America.
- WhatsApp is universal in Latin America — install before you fly. Many businesses operate WhatsApp-first.
- Alaska and Patagonia have signal-light stretches; offline maps essential. Bush Alaska and remote Patagonia drop out for hours.
- Andean and Amazonian regions vary widely. Cities and tourist routes are well-covered; deep jungle and high passes drop signal on any local SIM.
- Plug type A/B is universal across most of the Americas (USA, Canada, Mexico, much of Central America). South America is mixed — pack a multi-region adapter.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Americas plan cover the USA + Canada + Mexico?+
Yes. All three are on the regional plan with smooth handoff at every border.
Does it work in Hawaii and Alaska?+
Yes — same as any USA plan. Bush Alaska (outside the road system) drops on any carrier.
Does it cover Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego?+
Yes — at the towns (El Calafate, Ushuaia, Punta Arenas) and on the main routes. National park interiors weaken; same for any local carrier.
How much data for a multi-country South America trip?+
Maps, social, photos, payments — 7–10 GB for two weeks across 3–4 countries. Hotspotting or remote work — 15 GB or unlimited.
Does it cover cruise ports?+
The eSIM works at the port and in town. On the open sea it depends on the cruise's onboard cellular — some have it, most don't.
